My interest in real estate began when my family started investing in various property markets, including long- and short-term rentals, car washes, storage facilities, warehouse space, and trailer sales. This exposure to a diverse portfolio of investment properties sparked my enthusiasm for commercial real estate and the potential it holds for building long-term wealth.

After graduating from the University of Iowa with a BA in Secondary English Education, I taught High School English for 8 years. As our family real estate portfolio grew, I found myself increasingly drawn to the real estate profession. I wanted to help others achieve the same financial stability and growth that my family experienced. In 2022, I made the decision to step away from teaching and fully immerse myself in the real estate world by joining Skogman. Since then, my focus has been on assisting small business owners in finding quality long-term investment properties or the right lease space to meet their needs.

I am currently part of Skogman’s commercial certification program and working towards obtaining my CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. This advanced training allows me to provide my clients valuable insights and guidance, ensuring they make smart investment decisions.

When I’m not working, I am volunteering in various organizations and spending time with my family. I’ve been happily married to my husband for six years, and we have two young girls and a couple of beloved dogs.
