Michael Shaffer, CCIM
I am into my 50th year as a Realtor and my 30th year with Skogman Commercial Group.
I primarily deal in Commercial Real estate with an emphasis on Office and Multi-Family properties.
Over the years I have owned and managed my own real estate brokerages prior to Joining Skogman.
I have been very active in both local and state real estate associations and served the Cedar Raids Area Association of Realtors as President, Treasurer, and I have served 3 terms on the board of Directors.
I am a past Realtor of the year recipient From The Cedar Rapids Realtor association.
Currently I serve on the Board of Directors of the Foundation of Cornerstone Communities. We are affiliated with Guttenberg Municipal Hospitals and Clinics and we award community betterment grants in Clayton County Iowa.
In 1998 I obtained the prestigious CCIM designation, The CCIM designation is the equivalent of a masters degree on Commercial real estate .
In 1974 I received my Bachelor’s degree in Business from Mount Mercy University.
I have been an active real estate investor and have been active in Multiple Real estate partnerships primarily in Land and Office properties.
What I know is that I bring a depth of knowledge, experience and expertise to my clients as well as a vast array of marketing tools.
