Roy Nowers

Born in Moline, Illinois, and having lived in nine states across the U.S., I have gained a unique perspective on the dynamics of different markets, industries, and cultures. I proudly call Cedar Rapids my home, where I have deep roots in both the community and local economy. This background has not only shaped my ability to adapt and thrive in various environments but also instilled a strong sense of commitment to the people and businesses in the Cedar Rapids area.

With a diverse background spanning nine states and a wealth of experience in management and event coordination, I bring a unique perspective to the commercial real estate industry. My career includes 18 years as the Director of Programming & Marketing at the Five Seasons Center & Paramount Theatre in Cedar Rapids, where I managed a $3.4 million budget, over 100 employees, and 320 event days annually. This role honed my skills in negotiation, contract management, and high-pressure project execution—skills that directly translate into real estate. I hold an AA from Kirkwood Community College and a BA in Business Administration from Coe College, and I’ve also served as Interim Executive Director at the Science Station and Executive Director at Hawkeye Downs.

I am deeply committed to both my clients and the community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Cedar Rapids Area Association of Realtors, Cedar Rapids Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Linn County Crime Stoppers, along with involvement in various local committees, including the Cedar Rapids Downtown District Parking Committee and the CRCVB Sports Tourism Committee.
