Terry Knake

My Real Estate career began in 1971 and after gaining experience and attaining some degree of success I partnered with 3 other successful Realtors to form a Real Estate brokerage firm and then a large property management firm.

In the mid-90s I merged my sales force with Skogman Realty. During the course of my career I have had the opportunity to be involved in the sales of all types of real estate including numerous churches and recently several golf courses in Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri. I have been involved in the sales of apartment complexes, industrial facilities, and development ground.

Following the historic flood of 2008 I have been a volunteer with Hope Community Development Association a non-profit organization which is a faith based jobs training program enabling men with employment barriers to turn their lives in a new direction.

I have had the opportunity to serve on a number of area boards and service organizations in the area. These have included  Isaac newton Christian Academy, Hope CDA, Cedar Rapids Area Association of Realtors, and Salvation Army.

My wife Dixie and I have been married for 43 years. We have 6 children and 6 grandchildren and a number of foster children who lived with us.
